Romans 12:1–2 (NKJV)

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…”

A man is called to strength that begins with his surrender, offering his body as a living sacrifice, disciplined, setting himself apart, and fully available to God.

This is not weakness but deliberate devotion as he chooses daily to lay down his pride, resist his fleshly impulses, and his self-rule on the altar of God and stand firm in obedience.

He refuses to be molded by the shifting pressures of culture and instead trains his mind in truth found in God’s Word allowing God to reshape his thinking, sharpen his judgment, and steady his character.

This passage paints a picture of a man at his best: anchored, self-controlled, spiritually alert, and committed to discovering and living out the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.

Trusting your faith!

From Philippians 4:4-7

“make your requests known to God”

Ok, you have done that…

Now trust the silence…

Do all you need to do to stand! (Paraphrase from Ephesians 6:13-16)

Now get quiet and stand!

Trust the One who has requested your requests and is taking a stand for you as you are standing!

Don’t worry about not hearing that “still small voice” (from 1 Kings 19:12)!

Dear ones, faith is not hearing the answers, but faith is trusting in the One who has the answers…
